Our Vietnam Classic is truly a unique offering – including a great journey to Vietnam’s highlights : Saigon, the Mekong Delta, Hue, Hoi An, Hanoi and Halong.


Day 1: Arrive in Hanoi ( D ) 
Arrival in Hanoi in the afternoon, meet your guide and then transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Dinner host by Adventure tours Vietnam. Overnight Hanoi. 

Day 2: Hanoi City Tour (shouldn't be on a Monday) (B, L)
After breakfast, take a full day city tour in Hanoi - Hanoi is a unique city with tree-lined boulevards, French colonial architecture, peaceful lakes and oriental temples. The city tour includes such sights as the Temple of Literature, Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, the One Pillar Pagoda. In the late afternoon visit the Museum of Ethnology, then take a one hour cyclo tour (Vietnamese rickshaw) to see the Lake of the Restored Sword and the Old Quarter. In the evening enjoy Water Puppet Show. Overnight Hanoi.

Day 3: Hanoi - Halong Join group junk (B,L,D) private car with tour guide 
Pick up at hotel in Hanoi. Leave Hanoi by road for Halong Bay. Enjoy a journey through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta and the scenery of rice fields, water buffalo and everyday Vietnamese village life. Arrive in Halong and board a traditional sailing junk. While cruising the exquisite waters, sample the region's fresh seafood. Visit the recently discovered Surprise Grotto with its great views, and on the next island see the yawning mouth of Bo Nau Cave. Alternatively journey to Dau Go Cave and nearby see the famous stalagmites and stalactites of Thien Cung Cave. Enjoy a swim in the emerald waters of Halong Bay at any spot that you wish. Watch the sun set over the bay while enjoying a delicious dinner. Overnight on-board junk. 

Day 4: Halong - Hanoi (B,L)
Wake up to fresh coffee and a wholesome breakfast before cruising back to Halong City. En route, the junk weaves through strange-shaped rock formations that invite comparisons from fighting cocks to dragons and even General de Gaulle's nose! After another wonderful fresh seafood lunch on board disembark at the dock in Halong City. Return to Hanoi. Overnight Hanoi

Day 5: Hanoi - Hue (B, L) Flight
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for a short flight to Hue. On arrival in Hue, transfer to your hotel for check in. In the afternoon visit the elaborate mausoleums of emperors Tu Duc and Khai Dinh. Overnight Hue. 

Day 6: Hue - Danang - Hoian (B, L)
In the morning, take a boat trip on the romantically named Perfume River, and visit Hue's best-known religious site, the Thien Mu Pagoda. Then visit the Imperial Citadel from where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945. Leave Hue for Danang. On arrival in Danang visit the Cham Museum, containing the finest collection of Cham sculpture in the world. Continue to Hoi An. Hoi An, a major Asian trading port in the 17th and 18th centuries, whose architecture and relaxed lifestyle has changed little over the years. Overnight Hoi An

Day 7: Hoian - Danang - Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) (B, L) Flight
In the morning, take a walking tour of the ancient town:Visit Hoian: Japanese Covered Bridge, TanKy Old house, Assembly Hall Chinese. PhucKien Pagoda, Hoian Museum and Market. Transfer to the Danang Airport for a flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Meet your guide and transfer to hotel upon arrival. Overnight Ho Chi Minh City. 

Day 8: Ho Chi Minh City - Cu Chi - Ho Chi Minh City City Tour (B, L)
A morning tour to visit the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese resistance fighters during the long struggle for independence. In the afternoon a city tour of dynamic Ho Chi Minh City, still called Saigon by many locals, takes in the former Presidential Palace, the Notre Dame Cathedral, Old Saigon Post Office, and the Thien Hau Pagoda in the city's bustling Chinatown. Overnight Ho Chi Minh City. 

Day 9: Ho Chi Minh City - Mekong Delta (Ben Tre) - Ho Chi Minh City (B,L)
Enjoy a full day trip to the watery world of the Mekong Delta, just a couple of hours by road from the hustle and bustle of Saigon's streets. Take a boat trip to visit Thoi Son island, learn how to make coconut candy - a local traditional candy of Ben Tre. Continue with the carriage on the narrow village road to Mr. Tam Nen's garden, enjoy tea and honey-wine. Take a boat trip to Con Phung for lunch. Return to Saigon. Overnight Saigon. 

Day 10: Depart Ho Chi Minh City (B)
Check out at 12h00. Transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
