DAY 1: ARRIVAL HANOI - NORTH TOURS

DAY 2: HANOI CITY TOUR (BREAKFAST/LUNCH)
8.00am: Pick up at Hotel for departure city tour. Visit by coach or private transport trip along the Hanoi Old Quarter
We will take you past Hoan Kiem
Lake, see the peaceful waters, and visit Ngoc Son temple. Then visit Ho
Chi Minh Mausoleum and Museum. Enjoy the architectural and historical
aspects of Uncle Ho's final resting-place.
Just next door is Ho Chi Minh's house on stilts. Lying to one side of the Mausoleum is the One Pillar Pagoda, founded by King Ly Thai To
in 1049 the structure has become an important symbol for the people of
Hanoi. Continue to visit the Quan Thanh Temple (Taoist, dating from the
Ly Dynasty) and Buddhist Tran Quoc Pagoda on West lake (One of the oldest in Vietnam). Have a lunch.
PM: After lunch proceed to visit the Ethnology Museum, continue to visit the Literature Temple and Quoc Tu Giam.
Vietnam's first university constructed in 1070, it"s gardens and
well-preserved architecture offers a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam's
past.

08.30: Depart to Cat Ba National Park by small boat after breakfast.

Arrive at Viet Hai Jetty and take bicycle trip through untouched
forests and wildlife, discover the typical Viet Hai village, scenery and
the daily life of the locals.
12.30: Return to local day boat, enjoy a sumptuous seafood lunch and then continue the cruise through Halong Bay.
14.00:
After arriving at Lan Ha Lagoon and you have great opportunity for
exploring the untouched areas, relaxing on the beach, kayaking,
swimming.
16.30: Check in the hotel on Catba Island or Deluxe Bungalow on Nam Cat Island – free time.

You will arrive at the Lao Cai
Station between 5:00-7:30am. There you will meet the bus or private
transport guide and transfer to Sapa town.
After having breakfast and a shower,
you will start the half-day walk to Cat Cat village occupied by the
Black H'mong tribe. You will experience the tribal way of life while
enjoying wonderful views of the terraced rice paddy fields and the
waterfall in Cat Cat.
After the walk, you will be back to
the Hotel at around noon to check-in and be on time for lunch (11AM-2PM)
in the hotel restaurant. For the rest of the afternoon, you will be
free to explore Sapa town on your own.
Dinner will be in the hotel restaurant from 4:00-8:00pm. You will spend the night in the Hotel.

Bac Ha is the
meeting place of many different ethnic tribes who come to share their
culture as well as sell their wares, food, and livestock. At the market,
you will have the opportunity to experience all of the different
tribes' food and unique clothing.
At lunch you can taste local dishes and try the wines made from rice, corn, and fruit. Upon leaving you will see the H'mong king's house that was built by the French and Chinese in the 1920s.
You will leave the market in the afternoon for a return to train station for the night train to Lao Cai.
You will have dinner at restaurant near train station.

Breakfast is served in the hotel restaurant from 6:30-9 AM.
After breakfast you will check out
and leave your luggage in the luggage storage room to prepare for your
trek. At around 9 AM you will begin your 12 km trek on small trails down
the Muong Hoa Valley towards the Black H'mong village of Lao Chai. The Muong Hoa Valley contains some of the most beautiful views of rice paddy fields in Asia.
After having lunch along the Muong Hoa river in Lao Chai, you will continue along the bottom of the valley to get to the Dzay tribe village of Ta Van to experience their way of life.
At around 2PM you will be
transferred back to the hotel where you can take a shower, eat dinner in
the hotel and then head to Lao Cai station for night train back to Hanoi.
